New England Baked Beans
1-1/2 lb. dry navy beans
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. ketchup
1 c. brown sugar
1 additional c. water
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. dark molasses
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 lb. salt pork ground or diced
Instructions
Cook dry beans in water until soften. Drain and put in crockpot. Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours. High 4-6 hours stirring occasionally. (Beans should be soft before mixing with sugar or molasses.)
