1 lb. butter 2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. Karo 6 tbsp. water 1 c. chocolate chips, melted 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Place all above ingredients into saucepan. Boil until thick and until soft ball stage. Pour into flat buttered cookie sheet. Spread melted chocolate chips over hot mixture. Let cool, then crack into small pieces. (With pecans: Sprinkle pecans on buttered cookie sheet, before pouring mixture).
