Rolled-Up Meatloaf with Cheese
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
3/4 cup cracker crumbs
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup onions
1 teaspoon salt
2 (8 ounces) cans tomato sauce
2-3 slices white American cheese
2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Combine hamburger, cracker crumbs, egg, onion, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper. Mix well. Place on waxed paper. Roll flat with rolling pin (rectangle shape), sprinkle with Mozzarella. Roll up like a jelly roll. Press ends and seal. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Drain and pour in remaining tomato sauce and place American cheese on top. Bake 15 minutes longer.
