Baked Ham Loaf and Noodles with White Sauce
2 pounds ground ham
8 ounces noodles, crunched
3/4 pound Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons horseradish
2 tablespoons mustard
1 quart milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper
Instructions
White Sauce
Melt butter; add flour, then milk to form white sauce. Add horseradish and mustard. Crunch dry noodles; toss lightly with ham. Layer in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread white sauce; then sprinkle cheese over all and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let stand 20 minutes. Thin a can of mushroom soup with milk. Heat and serve over.
