Creamy Green Pea and Mushroom Casserole
1/2 pound mushrooms
1 tablespoon finely minced shallots
4 tablespoons butter
2 packages frozen peas
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Saute mushrooms and shallots in butter until mushrooms are tender. Add peas and cream and continue cooking until peas are tender. Add bacon and seasonings, toss. Heat through and serve.
Serves 8.
