Green Bean with Green Pea Casserole
1 (14-15 ounce) can green beans
1 (14-15 ounce) can green peas
1 1/2 cups grated cheese
1 1/2 cups milk
Sauce
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
Instructions
Drain bean and peas into greased casserole dish. Melt butter; add flour, let bubble a minute. Add milk, stirring constantly and cook for 5 minutes or until a thin sauce. Take off stove. Add 1 cup grated cheese, stir until melted. Pour over peas and beans. Then add 1/2 cup grated cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
