Chocolate Kiss Drop Cookies
2 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
Instructions
Beat eggs whites until foamy, Add salt and cream of tartar. Beat until stiff by not dry. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time and continue beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in chocolate chips and peppermint extract. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls in to baking sheets covered with heavy ungreased paper. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from pan.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
