1/2 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/3 cup sour cream 3/4 cup salt cashews
Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream. Fold in cashews. Bake at 325 degrees F for 10 minutes. Watch closely.
Icing: Brown butter; add vanilla, cream and enough powdered sugar to make frosting thick and creamy. Frost cooled cookies and top cashews. Makes about 25 cookies.
