2 bars German sweet chocolate 1 tablespoon butter 2 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup unsifted all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions
Melt chocolate and butter over double boiler. Stir and cool. Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, 2 tablespoon at a time, and beat for 5 minutes with electric mixer or until thickened. Blend in chocolate. Blend in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; blend. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly and remove to wire rack. Yield 4 dozen.
