Cherry Crisp
1 (24 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1/2 of an 18 1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. margarine, cut into 1/8 inch pats
1/2 c. walnuts, finely chopped
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Ice cream
Instructions
Arrange cherry pie filling in an 8 inch square glass baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with cake mix and dot with margarine. Stir together walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over filling and cake mix. Cook on high for 10 minutes*, rotating dish 1/4 turn every 3 minutes.
*Time is for an 800 watt microwave oven.
Serves 8.
