Apple Breakfast Cake
2 cans sliced apples
cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg to taste
1 pkg. white cake mix (2 layer)
1 cube butter or margarine
Instructions
Empty cans of apples into bowl. Season to taste with cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, etc. Pour into pie dish or square pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over apples evenly covering 3/4" all over. Thinly slice butter or margarine and lay on top of mix covering it. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until brown. Excellent with ice cream or Cool Whip.
