Baked Halibit in Cheese Sauce
4 tablespoons flour
4 teaspoons butter, melted
2 cups milk
1 (10-ounce) package extra sharp cheese, grated
Salt and Pepper to taste
6 halibut fillets
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
Instructions
Add flour to butter; blend well. Gradually add milk; cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add grated cheese; stir until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place halibut fillets in shallow baking pan; cover with cheese sauce. Arrange tomato slices over fish; bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
