Stir all dry ingredients together, set aside. In mixer cream sugar, molasses, butter, with electric mixer until light, scraping sides of bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, then milk, beating until smooth and fluffy. Add flour mixture and mashed bananas alternately to creamed mixture, beating until smooth. Gently fold in nuts. Place batter in lightly greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 65 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes 1 loaf.
