Fresh Blueberry Banana Nut Bread
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
5 med. bananas, mashed
4 cups flour
3 teaspoon allspice
2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour two loaf pans. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add bananas, then 3 cups flour. Reserve 2 tablespoons flour to coat blueberries. Place remaining flour in sifter with remaining dry ingredients. Sift and fold into the banana mixture. Stir in vanilla. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons flour over blueberries, then fold in batter. Divide the batter into prepared loaf pans. Bake about 50 minutes.
