King Crab Au Gratin
2 (6 ounce) package frozen King crab
2 pounds boiled shrimp
3 tablespoons margarine
1 cup milk
1/2 cup light cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tablespoons grated onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
Instructions
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk, cream and chicken broth. Cook stirring constantly over low heat until sauce is smooth and thick. Add cheese, mushrooms, onion, salt, and paprika. Stir until cheese is melted; add crabmeat and shrimp. Pour into a well greased casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs over top. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until top is golden brown. Serve hot over rice.
