Apple Cream Pie
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sour cream
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 chopped apples
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
Instructions
Combine sugar and flour. Add sour cream, egg, vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth. Add apples and pour into pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 325 degrees and bake 30 minutes more.
Additional Information
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup soft butter
Combine ingredients and spread evenly over pie. Return and bake in oven. Bake for 20 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings
