1 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Wash, quarter, core, pare and chop
1 large apple (about 1 1/4 cups, chopped)
Place in saucepan with
3 1/2 cups mincemeat
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon peel
Heat mixture thoroughly. Cool slightly. Fill unbaked pie shell with mincemeat and apple mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely before eating.
