Apple Pie Filling
10 c. water
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 to 3 drops yellow food coloring
3 tbsp. lemon juice
7 qt. cut up apples
2 tbsp. vanilla
Instructions
In a large pot blend sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Stir in water. Cook until boils and thickens. Add lemon juice. Stir in apples, fill jars. process for 20 minutes.
