Veal Stew

4 large onions, chopped

2 tablespoons butter

2 pounds veal, cut into small pieces



1 tablespoon paprika

2 tomatoes, cut up

1 green pepper, chopped

2 tablespoons water

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1 cup sour cream

Cook onions in butter until well browned. Add veal, salt, pepper and paprika. Cook until brown, stirring often. Add tomatoes, green pepper and water. Cover and cook slowly for 45 minutes, adding a tablespoon of water if necessary. Add onions and sour cream. Cook 5 minutes. Serve very hot.
