Veal with Artichokes

2 pound veal round

salt and pepper

1/4 cup seasoned flour

1/2 cup oil

1 (1 pound) can solid-pack tomatoes

1/2 cup beef broth

1/4 teaspoon oregano

1 (10 ounce) packages frozen artichoke hearts

SautÈ garlic in oil in heavy skillet. Dust veal with seasoned flour. Brown in oil. Add tomatoes, beef broth, and oregano; mix well. Add artichokes. Cover; simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until meat is tender. Makes 6 servings
