Lamb Kebobs
3/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup water
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 pound lamb cut into 1 inch cubes
2 medium tomatoes, cut into sixths
18 small mushrooms
6 slices bacon, cut in thirds
Instructions
Combine in saucepan vinegar, water, bay leaves, salt and sugar; bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Cool. Pour over meat and marinade. Arrange meat tomato wedges, mushrooms and bacon slices alternately on 6 skewers. Broil 15 minutes in shallow pan, 3 or 4 inches from heat. Turn frequently and basting with reserved marinade.
Makes 6 servings
