Liver and Onions
1 1/2 pounds sliced calf liver
Seasoned flour
6 medium onions, sliced
4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Instructions
Dredge liver with flour; sautÈ in hot fat until browned. Place in greased baking dish. Cover with onions. Season with salt and pepper. Spread bacon over top. Add 1/2 cup hot water; cover and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, adding more water as needed. Remove cover and bake 10 minutes more or until tender.
