Mushroom Smothered Liver

1 to 1 1/2 pounds. liver

3 medium onions

Flour

1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup

1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained

Instructions

Cut liver into serving sizes. Coat with flour and brown in small amount of shortening. Do not fully cook; just brown on both sides. Place in baking dish and cover with sliced onions, mushroom and then spoon soup over the top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
