Barbecued Wieners
1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
1/2 cup water
1 cup catsup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup celery, chopped
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon mustard
8 wieners, sliced, 2 inches
Instructions
Brown onion in oil, add rest of ingredients (except wieners.) Simmer for 30 minutes. Add wieners and cook 5 minutes longer or until wiener slices are hot.
Makes 4 servings.
