Baked Tuna Casserole
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 small onion, diced
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 quart milk
1 teaspoon salt
13 ounce tuna
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
1 small individual size bag potato chips
Instructions
Brown green pepper and onion in butter. Add flour, milk and salt. Cook until thickened. Add tuna, mushrooms and potato chips (reserving some for the top of the casserole). Pour into a 8 by 8 glass casserole dish. Top with remaining potato chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Makes 6 servings.
