Biscuits
2 cups packaged biscuit mix (such as Bisquick)
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Filling
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
2 tbsp light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 425 F. Lightly grease, or spray with cooking spray, an 8" square baking pan.
Make Biscuits: In large bowl, combine biscuit mix, sugar, milk, and butter, stir with fork just until mixed. Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface and knead gently for 8-10 minutes.
Make Filling: Combine marmalade, pecans and brown sugar, mix well.
Roll dough into a 12x9 rectangle and brush with one tablespoon of melted butter. Spread with filling mixture, to within 1/2" of edge. From short side, roll up jelly roll style. Cut crosswise into 9 1-inch slices. Arrange slices, cut side down, in prepared pan and brush with the remaining melted butter. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
