Apple Spice Rice
3 tbsp butter
1 cup long grain rice
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small tart apple, peeled, cored, and diced
1/2 cup red grapes, quartered
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in rice, onion, garlic, apple and raisins. Saute for 3-4 minutes. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 16-18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
