3/4 cup cornmeal 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cream of tartar 1 tsp salt 2 12 tbsp sugar 1 egg, beaten 2 tbsp melted butter 1 cup thick sour cream 4 tbsp milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 F. Grease a 9x9 square pan.
Sift flour and cornmeal, add baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and sugar. Sift again. Add beaten egg, melted butter, sour cream, and milk, beat thoroughly.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 20 minutes.
