Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
Heat oven to 375 F. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla with electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually mix in flour mixture, beating well. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly'; remove from cookies sheet to wire rack.
