Amish Friendship Bread
1 c. Amish bread starter
2/3 cup oil
3 eggs
2 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


Combine all ingredients. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans, 8 x 3 x 2 inches each. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until dry.

VARIATIONS:


The possibilities are endless with this sweet friendship bread. You can add 1/2 cup of dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, dates, etc), chopped nuts, chopped apples, coconut, flavored chips (chocolate, cinnamon, white chocolate, butterscotch, etc). Add any of these ingredients as the last step. try different variations that suit your tastes. Here are a few flavor combinations you may enjoy:


-- dried cranberries and white chocolate chips
-- chocolate & peanut butter chips
-- crushed pineapple and coconut
-- chopped pecans and butterscotch chips
-- raisins and chopped walnuts
