6-8 potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. crumbled cooked bacon
1/4 c. oil
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
1-2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
1/8 c. white wine vinegar |

| Instructions |
| Slice potatoes thin. Heat oil and add bacon to oil in large frying pan. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat stirring until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in water and vinegar. Heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil one minute, then add potatoes. Remove from heat and cover. Let stand until serving time.
