Grape Sherbet

1 c. sugar 1/3 c. water 1 1/2 c. grape juice 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 egg whites 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. cream (whipped) |

| Instructions |
| Boil 1/2 cup sugar and 1/3 cup water for 5 minutes. Add grape and lemon juices and freeze to a mush. When mixture has frozen to a mush beat egg whites to a froth. Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar and beat. Whip cream. Put grape juice frozen mixture in a chilled bowl and whip until light and fluffy. Then fold in egg whites and whipped cream. Return to freezing tray and freeze quickly.
