2 tbsp slivered almonds, toasted
1-1/2 cups cherries, frozen or canned, unsweetened
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup splenda
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups vanilla ice milk
In a small saucepan whisk Splenda, cornstarch, & 3/4 cup water. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute. Stir in cherries and almond extract. Let cool. Scoop ice cream into serving bowls. Top with cherries & toasted almonds.
