1 c. grapenut (cereal) (soak for 20 minutes)
2 c. buttermilk
Add
1 c. sugar
1 egg - beaten
Then add the following:
4 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
5 t. baking powder |

| Put in 2 greased loaf pans. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake 350357 degrees for 45 minutes.
