Rolled Oat Clusters (no Bake Cookies)

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. rolled oats (quick or regular)

Instructions
Combine sugar, milk, butter and salt, in a heavy 3 quart pot. Stir. Bring to a full boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Add rolled oats.


Mix well. Cool until mixture holds shape, slightly. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. Cool. Makes about 4 dozen clusters.

These were so simple and easy to make...The whole house smells of peanut butter...I will make these again...If I could rate these a 10 I would... Theresa

I love these. I wasn't sure how much peanut butter to use.. thanks for posting the recipe. You can also use cocoa powder to make chocolate flavored.
